Hello students ! Today, in this new article I'll talk about the university of NTNU in Trondheim but more specially about the orientation week š.
In Norway, the courses begin in the middle of August unlike France ahahaha.
But, before the beginning of courses, the university NTNU proposed us a orientation week ...
What is it means ?
Each year, NTNU and its employees organizes a week where each day several activities but it's not all... They help us to make our bustard, to register us at the police station for example.
The year the program was :
Monday (14 August)

We are arrived at the Scandic Lerkandal that is a hotel. I could see every students that there were... we were around 1 500 students ! šµšµ
Girls that you can see ont this picture beside are a music group in Norway among them Sigrid Hauge (Higher Executive Officer).
After to be registered at NTNU, we walked together to campus GlĆøshaugen to take a group photo :

It was funny to see everybody on one picture !
Moreover, we had to create a group of 10 students to start the Trondheim Games.
During afternoon, several missions were proposed with several questions about Trondheim in general.
I meet a lot of people thank to this week !
Tuesday (15 August)
It was more like a information day at Scandic Lerkandal (hotel), it was important to discuss aout essential information that we needed. They helped us for our first week in Trondheim.
Wednesday (16 August)
Unfortunately, this day was raining when we assisted at the matriculation ceremony. There were a lot of shows, with a speech of president of NTNU. There were another ceremony but I was lazy and i prefered do something else like shopping š. (There are many shopping mall in this city so i'm in paradise š!)
We had to make a game named "63 Degrees North" + lunch but it's was delete because of rain... š
Thursday (17 August)
This day was the hiking hahahš
Mine was Ladestien, an easy level because when I had to register me for the orientation week, it was a little bit late and I hadn't another choice to take this last one ... Anyway, the landscape was wonderful.
The name of this place is Lade near of Korsvika. It's a scenic walk along the fjord on a gravel path.
Some people swam in the sea with the water at 15 degree š² !
Finally, it's a good day with many sun and thank to this hiking I could met news students.
Friday (18 August)
There have been a info meeting for exchange students a the faculty of Economic, so me... It was about our school which is Business school because I study business and marketing since 3 years.
Then, we meet NTNU's student organisations where there was NTNUI which the main organisation to make sport in the university. For my part, I practice Volley-Ball since several years. š
For the lunch, a BBQ was organized with hamburgers š š in the garden International house. So many people were there. We had to wait 1 hour to have our hamburger ahahaha but it was cool because you can met another people again and again and everybody is welcoming in the university so everything was OK. š
š Friday Night we had a party at Samfundet : a huge building with several floors when you can make parties like one night club but in my mind it's better !
Every party here finish at 2.00 a.m. so bars, night club and Samfundet is close at this hour... it's very strange for me cause in France, the night are closed at 6.00 a.m ahahaha. But it's good if you have a lesson the next day because you are not really tired !
Saturday (19 August)
We were free until 18.30 during Saturday. The program was either Movie or quiz night.
I chose the movie and it was about a natural disaster. The tittle of movie is "The wave", it's Norwegian movie.
I appreciated it.
Sunday (20 August)
Last day and special day ...
At 16.00 we had a meeting point with all students to prepare us for the Soccer match : Rosenborg vs Haugesund at Lerkendal Stadium. We learned the national anthem of Norway and drawn the color of Rosenborg team in our face.
Then at 18.00 the match started !
Unfortunately ... We lost š
But next time we'll win ! I wish it
